Empowering Future Workforce for Sustainable Broiler Production

About the Project

In the fast-changing landscape of agriculture, there is a paradigm shift in the employment pattern of agricultural graduates, warranting revision of existing curricula to better address current agricultural priorities. Our education objective targets the development of systems approach for sustainable poultry instruction. We plan to utilize research outcomes of this project towards equipping and educating the future workforce (agriculture and poultry undergraduates and graduates as well as high school students) on improving sustainability of the poultry sector. We have gathered educational resources and teaching faculty from three participating universities and international collaboration. Our team members are trained in effective pedagogy and are experienced teachers.
