An interdisciplinary team conducted research on the impact of feeding bigheaded carp fish meal on meat quality and sensory attributes in organic broiler chickens. Dr. Indu Upadhyaya of UConn was lead author. The team found that the carp-based fish meal could provide a novel protein and be useful in broiler diets. The research article is available online.
